New Thoracic Drainage Site

The blog now has a Thoracic Drainage page – this page will collate any information on the site regarding pleural aspiration and drainage.  So far there are a couple of videos from the New England Journal of Medicine showing correct techniques for insertion of chest drains and thoracocentesis.  More to follow as I have them.

    Dear colleagues,

Please may I use an image you have posted on your website? I am a specialist registrar and clinical education fellow at University of Leicester, and have a presentation about Learning Futures next week.

The ‘inserting a chest drain’ image on Google Images is just what I am looking to introduce a concept I refer to in the talk, so I’d like to use it and fully attribute your webpage in the process. The conference is non-commercial and for the purposes of education. Please let me know if this is acceptable to you.

The URL for the conference is http://tinyurl.com/followthesun

    With kind regards,

    Rakesh
